Verification signals are captured only at the moment a user explicitly taps the check-in or check-out button, and only with prior OS-level consent. The platform is designed around purpose limitation, data minimization, and privacy-aware defaults.

What Check-ly is — and what it is not

• ·Designed for: Attendance coordination across distributed teams — office, field, remote, and hybrid worksites.
• ·Used for: Confirming a user is at a registered workplace at the moment of check-in or check-out.
• ·Event-based: Verification signals are captured only when the user explicitly taps check-in or check-out. No background or continuous capture.
• ·Privacy-aware: Administrators do not have the ability to view real-time user location.
• ·Purpose-limited: Data is not used for advertising, behavioural profiling, or sale to third parties.
• ·It is not a workforce monitoring or location-tracking product.

How verification works

• ✓Verification signals are captured only at the moment of an explicit check-in or check-out action (event-based).

• ✓Used solely to confirm the user is within a registered workplace radius at the time of the attendance event.

Data residency

User data is processed and stored within data centres in the Republic of Korea. When data transfers occur for global payment processing or infrastructure purposes, industry-standard safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are applied.
